“Lights, Camera, Knowledge, Go!”

This year’s slogan speaks a lot about JimEnglish’s aspiration for all its teachers, and that is to become fully equipped with the right attitude, skills, and tools needed to deliver excellent service to our students. 

Being the lifeblood of education, teachers play multiple roles within our organization. As much as imparting knowledge and training our students for lifelong English language skills, they represent a highly dignified profession. Through impeccable teaching methods and techniques, they earn the trust and admiration of our students, and through their good conduct, they gain their respect and that of our institution. 

Challenges never go away, but our teachers should never falter. In fact, they really don’t. They keep on rising above the situation. They find ways to resolve problems. It’s not always easy, but the motivation that comes from the love of the profession and from their fellow teachers and the administrators make them pull through. 

We hope that this year’s theme reminds all our teachers to become consistently well-prepared for every class, so that just like in a movie production, they are ready as the camera rolls and get a good take every time! Moreover, just like a movie actor, they get into their character, and deliver their act, as directed. Nonetheless, it is the actor’s passion and skill that shine. We expect our teachers to be the same -- to bring forth excellent performance while keeping in mind the student’s learning goals and our school’s policies and procedures. More importantly, do everything with the right amount of passion, talent, and skill.

Lifeblood - The blood, as being necessary to life. The indispensable factor or influence that gives something its strength and vitality.

Impeccable - (of behavior, performance, or appearance) in accordance with the highest standards of propriety; faultless.
